Job Description:
We are hiring Apprentice Lift Engineers for our next generation. A full-time apprenticeship with Schindler involves experience rotations across our business following a 42-month structured programme, covering Service and Maintenance, New Installations, Modernisation, Repairs, and Escalators. This program will develop a comprehensive skill set in all aspects of our business. We are seeking a Service and Repairs Apprentice for Yorkshire and surrounding areas to cover multiple sites with various equipment. You will learn to maintain and repair Schindler equipment alongside other manufacturers, including conducting functional testing to ensure safety standards.
The ideal candidate will be hardworking, determined, ambitious, eager to learn, and committed to advancing their career within an innovative, customer-focused company. Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will earn a NVQ Level 3 Lift Electromechanics qualification and formal mechanical and/or electrical engineering qualifications. If a relevant position is available, you may be offered a role within our Field Operations team, with further development opportunities.

Candidate Requirements:
* Good communication skills
* At least 5 GCSEs at Grade 4 or above (A-C)
* Full UK driving license or working towards one within 12 months
* Customer service skills

Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm. Total hours per week: 37.
