TEAM
We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented Finance Analyst to join our Crew Finance team within Operations Finance as a true business partner. In this role, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders across various functions, including finance and the operations teams, to provide critical financial support and insights. Your responsibilities will encompass budget setting, monthly reporting and analysis, re-forecasting, business case evaluation, and 5-year planning.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
>You will play a pivotal role in driving business performance through detailed cost analysis, accurate forecasting, and continuous process improvements.
>Your expertise in financial evaluation and decision support will be essential for ad-hoc projects and cost-saving initiatives.
>You will also provide support to ensure financial accuracy and timely reporting of Crew costs.
>As a member of the Core Finance team, you will maintain strong cross-functional relationships and provide subject matter expertise to diverse stakeholders.
>Key performance indicators will include maintaining cost per aircraft block hour and crew productivity and effectively tracking company initiatives to meet financial goals.
Requirements of the Role
KEY SKILLS REQUIRED
>We are looking for a qualified accountant with experience handling large, complex entities in a fast-paced environment.
>You should have strong analytical skills, particularly in variance analysis, and be adept at delivering detailed insights to support procurement and crew operations teams.
>Effective communication and the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels are essential
>The capability to demonstrate the commercial value of finance projects and explain financial concepts to non-financial audiences.
>A proactive team player, you should be able to work independently, offer innovative solutions, and exhibit high levels of motivation and enthusiasm.
>Proficiency in Excel, including basic macros, and experience with TM1 are preferred.

LOCATION & HOURS OF WORK
This full time role will be based in Luton and will be 40 hours per week.
