Join a Fast-Paced Recruitment Team Supporting Community Healthcare
Bromley Healthcare CIC is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Recruitment Assistant to support its growing HR and recruitment operations. This Band 3 role offers a dynamic opportunity to contribute to the full recruitment lifecycle for both substantive and bank staff across a wide range of community health services.
As a key member of the recruitment team, you’ll help ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new hires, maintain compliance with NHS employment standards, and provide administrative support across multiple HR functions. This is an office-based role located in Orpington, Kent, and applicants must have unrestricted right to work in the UK—visa sponsorship is not available.
Key Responsibilities
* Advertise vacancies and manage job postings using the TRAC recruitment system
* Respond to applicant queries and coordinate interview scheduling
* Guide candidates through NHS pre-employment checks, including DBS, references, and training coordination
* Arrange start dates and onboarding activities to ensure a seamless transition into roles
* Provide face-to-face support to candidates and hiring managers as needed
* Collaborate with the Head of Recruitment and wider HR team to maintain compliance and improve processes
* Perform general administrative duties to support HR operations
Candidate Profile
* Demonstrable experience in NHS recruitment administration
* Familiarity with TRAC recruitment system and NHS employment standards
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
* Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
