Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Learning & Development Manager to join our Human Resources team on a part-time, fixed-term basis to covermaternity leave. Reporting to the Head of Human Resources & Learning & Development, you will manage the L&D team andmaintainour learning and development plans and programs that enhance the skills, knowledge, and performance of staff, in alignment with our strategic and operational priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain a comprehensive learning and development plan aligned with the charity's goals and regulatory requirements.
* Collaborate with department heads and commission external training providers to ensure effective delivery and cost-effectiveness of all training programs.
* Conduct training needs analysis toidentifyskill gaps and training requirements.
* Design, deliver, and evaluate a variety of learning and development programs, including inductions, workshops, e-learning modules, and on-the-job training.
* Manage our new Learning Management System (LMS), promote its use, and continue to develop the platform, courses, and content available.
* Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and makeimprovementsas necessary.
* Be part of the charity’s Wellbeing Progress Group and collaborate with other departments in launching new initiatives and benefits to our staff.
What will make you successful:
* CIPD L5 or equivalent experience.
* Proven experience in a learning and development role, preferably within the health and social care sector.
* Strong knowledge of learning and development principles, methodologies, and best practices.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and connect with learners and stakeholders.
* Familiaritywith learning management systems (LMS) and other Office 365 technologies.
