Job Responsibilities
* Carrying out a range of services associated with the cleaning, clearance, repair and maintenance of our customers' drains
* Operation of High-Pressure Water Jetting Equipment in line with rigorous safety standards
* Carrying out surveys
* Providing an exceptional standard of customer service and technical expertise
* Accurately recording work/job details via a range of bespoke internal/client systems and applications
* Communicating effectively with high profile commercial and domestic clients and Metro Rod Support Centre colleagues to ensure excellent customer service is provided at all times
* Being part of an on-call rota to help service our clients 24/7 / 365 days a year. This would be one week in four‑variable according to business needs
Qualifications / Experience
* High pressure water jetting experience
* Surveying experience
* Minimum 2 years' experience in commercial drainage
* Excellent problem‑solving ability with sound technical knowledge
* Have a positive, flexible, can‑do attitude
* Want to be part of a growing and progressive business
* Be willing to work some unsociable hours
* Full UK driving licence
* Must live in the Devon area
* Metro Rod work with the likes of Equans, Amey, Aldi, Mitie, Greggs, McDonalds, Wetherspoons and many more in the FM, Social Housing, Property Management, Retail, Industrial and Leisure sectors
