Flexible 1:1 Tutor – Trafford (M16)
Are you looking for a meaningful way to support pupils outside of the classroom?
We’re currently seeking experienced and compassionate tutors in the Trafford area (M16) to deliver personalised, one-to-one support to children and young people who are unable to attend mainstream school. These pupils may be facing challenges such as anxiety, SEN, medical needs or behavioural barriers – and they need someone patient, engaging and consistent to guide their learning.
Sessions typically take place in the pupil’s home or a local public space like a library. You'll work during school hours (between 8am and 4pm), with the freedom to take on as much or as little work as suits your schedule.
This is an ideal opportunity for qualified teachers (QTS), tutors, or support staff with strong subject knowledge and a background in working with young learners. If you're passionate about helping children succeed in a more focused, one-to-one setting, we’d love to hear from you.
What you'll get:
* £25–£30 per hour, depending on experience
* Flexible hours to fit around your life
* Weekly pay through PAYE (no umbrella fees)
* Support from a dedicated consultant
* Access to CPD opportunities if desired
Your role will go far beyond academics – you’ll be helping pupils rebuild confidence, routine, and a connection to learning.
