Key Responsibilities
Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal components for aircraft and aerospace structures.
Work from detailed engineering drawings and specifications to deliver high-tolerance components.
Use a range of equipment - including shears, brakes, presses, CNC machinery, and hand tools - to cut, bend, and form metals such as aluminium, titanium, and stainless steel.
Perform drilling, riveting, and fastening operations to ensure secure and durable assemblies.
Carry out repairs and modifications to existing components in line with aerospace quality standards.
Collaborate with engineers, inspectors, and production teams to maintain accuracy and consistency.
Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant workspace, adhering to PPE and aerospace regulations.
About You
Minimum of 3 years' experience in sheet metal work, ideally within aerospace, defence, or advanced manufacturing.
Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering schematics.
Skilled in using precision measuring instruments such as callipers, micrometres, and gauges.
Proven track record of quality, attention to detail, and right-first-time workmanship.
Positive attitude with a commitment to teamwork and continuous improvement.
