It is the philosophy of BID-Plymouth to follow the LEAN methodology in order to provide the full continuum of health care services and the best quality patient centered care.**Duties/Responsibilities:*** Responsible for assessment, treatment and care of patients of all ages within the scope of respiratory therapy.* Administers prescribed treatment.* Makes recommendations to physicians requesting alternative modalities of treatment.* Evaluates effectiveness of treatment.* Performs diagnostic testing as prescribed by physicians.* Education regarding respiratory procedures for M.D.’s, nursing staff, patients and families.* Maintains department records.* Responsible for setting up and management of Ventilators (non-invasive and invasive).*It is understood that this is a summary of key job functions and does not include every detail of the job that may reasonably be required.***Education/Experience Required:*** Prior Experience preferred.* Two-year program with an Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Care* Graduate of A.M.A. approved certification program for Respiratory Therapy.**Registration/Certification:*** Massachusetts License.* National Board Certification. CRT or RRT.* BLS Certification required* NPR certification preferred**Pay Range:**$31.00 - $54.80This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement. The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. The pay range for this position is established and governed by the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
