Senior Commercial Manager (Insurance) Hybrid role - UK
Our client, a well-known retail and financial services organisation, is seeking a Senior Commercial Manager to lead the rollout of a major new insurance product. This is a high-impact opportunity for a commercially minded individual from any insurance background to shape the direction of a new offering, drive growth, and deliver strong results across sales, retention, and customer engagement.
Sitting within the Partnership Development team, this role will be pivotal to delivering the client’s long-term growth ambitions in the protection space. The successful candidate will oversee the end-to-end delivery of the new project, working closely with internal teams (marketing, pricing, finance) and managing day-to-day relationships with a key insurance partner.
Develop and execute sales and retention initiatives including offers, campaigns and trade drivers
Oversee compliance activities including fair value assessments, product reviews and customer outcome monitoring
Strong commercial or product management experience in any insurance discipline (e.g. Life, Motor, Home, Pet, Travel)
A background in launching or running, involved in product-led projects or initiatives
Experience setting commercial budgets and delivering against sales and P&L targets
Understanding of compliance frameworks and regulatory responsibilities within insurance

This is a Hybrid role with the expectation of working from home but with the ability to travel to one of our clients offices in Edinburgh and the North East when required.
