Hazelbrook Care Home is a modern, purpose-built home offering specialist and complex care for 80 residents across four 20-bed, bungalow-style households. Designed for calm, therapeutic living, it supports people with advanced dementia, complex nursing needs, and mental health conditions.

We are now looking for a passionate and experienced Head of Activities to lead our activities programme and bring energy, creativity, and leadership to this vital role.

As Head of Activities, you will lead from the front, inspiring both residents and your team, ensuring every individual has opportunities to live well, stay connected, and continue doing the things they love.
Working closely with the Home Manager, you will shape and deliver a vibrant, inclusive programme that reflects the interests, life stories, and abilities of our residents. Your leadership will be key in embedding activities at the heart of daily life within the home.

Your role as Head of Activities
As Head of Activities, you will take ownership of the activities programme, leading, coordinating, and delivering meaningful experiences for residents while inspiring others to contribute.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
* Leading and developing a varied, person-centred activities programme that supports residents' wellbeing, independence, and happiness
* Providing leadership and direction to activities staff, volunteers, and the wider team, fostering a culture where engagement is everyone's responsibility
* Creating both group and one-to-one experiences that reflect residents' interests, life histories, and abilities
* Building strong relationships with residents, families, and the local community to enhance connection and involvement
* Ensuring activities are well planned, organised, and documented, maintaining accurate and meaningful records
* Working collaboratively with the Home Manager and wider leadership team to continuously evolve and improve the activities offering
