Job Opportunity: Stock Control Coordinator Location: Carrickfergus Salary: 30k per annum Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm Reporting to: Operations Manager About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Stock Control Coordinator to join a growing operations team. This role is key to ensuring accurate stock management, maintaining data integrity, and supporting efficient warehouse operations. During an initial transition period, there will be a requirement to work across both Carrickfergus and Newtownards, supporting operational continuity ahead of a planned relocation to Carrickfergus. Key Responsibilities Stock Control & Accuracy Carry out regular stock checks, including weekly reviews of key and low-stock items Investigate discrepancies (e.g., missing stock, pick errors), identify root causes, and implement corrective actions Complete routine stock reviews (including BIBO where applicable) Support stock counts and year-end inventory processes Data Integrity & Systems Management Maintain accurate and consistent stock data across systems Update product information, codes, and records Ensure all stock movements are correctly recorded Identify process inefficiencies and support continuous improvements Assist with implementing and maintaining stock control procedures What our client is looking For Essential Criteria Minimum 1 years' experience in stock control or inventory management Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy Experience investigating stock discrepancies Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, data manipulation, spreadsheets) Experience using ERP and WMS systems Strong organisational and time management skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Proactive problem-solving mindset Flexibility to support operational needs What's in it for you?
