Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Business Debt Advisor to join our financial services team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in assisting clients with business debts, analysing financial data, and providing professional advice to help them achieve financial stability.
Duties are around speaking with company directors who have recently made an online inquiry in need of general advice. All inquiries are warm, no cold calling
Advice will vary depending on the size of the company or the relationship with the business owner. Their common job functions include:
* Dealing with incoming inquiries from accountants, and referral network or online
* Discussing Potential Insolvency Options
* Advising Sole Traders and Limited Companies
* Deal with Directors who are in distress seeking advice
* Helping Directors with the most appropriate advice and options
* Building relationships with new clients, gauging their needs, and developing proposals to address these needs
* Maintaining and developing relationships with existing clients
* Possessing a strong understanding of the company's products, the competition in the industry, and positioning
* Identifying potential assets and issues to be brought to the Office Holder's attention
* Managing a case load of directors and being their first point of contact
* Maintaining a monthly CPD training log to help grow industry knowledge and keep updated
As part of the package, the firm will build a structured development plan around your specific needs supported by regular appraisals. The firm is looking to bring you up to speed as soon as possible for future promotion as the company grows.
Requirements but not essential:
* Knowledge of Personal Insolvency would be advantageous
* Knowledge of Company Insolvencies would be advantageous
* Insolvency qualifications would be seen as advantageous, although support is provided towards CPI and JIEB where appropriate.
