Job Description
3. Lead and develop the group finance function, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
4. Oversee month‑end close, consolidations, and performance analysis across entities
5. Manage audit processes and act as the key contact for external auditors
6. Ensure compliance with regulatory, tax, and statutory reporting requirements
7. Drive improvements in financial controls, processes, and systems
8. Partner with senior stakeholders to support budgeting, forecasting, and decision‑making
9. Review sensitive accounting areas (e.g. payroll, bonuses, cash management)
10. Support finance transformation and change projects across the business
The Successful Applicant
11. Fully qualified accountant (ideally ACA) with strong technical grounding across both management and statutory reporting
12. Proven leader with experience managing and developing teams in a fast‑paced environment
13. Confident operating in a hands‑on, detail‑focused role with ownership of key financial processes
14. Comfortable in a PE‑backed or high‑growth business with evolving priorities and tight deadlines
15. Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to partner senior leadership
16. Experience in regulated environments (FCA or similar) would be advantageous
17. Proactive, resilient, and able to bring structure to a sometimes complex or changing business
