ABOUT THE ROLE
The Building Surveyor will play a key part in delivering professional surveying services to a varied client base. The role includes both technical inspections and project management responsibilities, offering exposure to dilapidations, compliance, refurbishment and new-build work. Key responsibilities:
1. Conducting building surveys, condition surveys and defect analysis
2. Preparing schedules of condition, dilapidations and maintenance reports
3. Acting as contract administrator on refurbishment and new-build projects
4. Advising on building pathology, compliance and statutory obligations
5. Providing professional consultancy support to clients across multiple sectors
REQUIREMENTS
6. MRICS qualified, or on the pathway to chartership
7. Strong consultancy-side building surveying experience
8. Excellent technical knowledge and report writing skills
9. Strong communication and client-facing ability
