Occupational Therapist â Full Time (37.5 hours)
Salary: ÂŁ44,000
Our client, a specialist independent healthcare provider, is seeking a motivated Occupational Therapist to join their clinical team at a therapeutic hospital set within nine acres of peaceful countryside. The service offers a calm, natureârich environment that supports recovery and overall wellbeing.
Role Overview
As an Occupational Therapist, youâll play a key role in supporting adults on their rehabilitation journey. Working as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, you will help shape personalised treatment plans and deliver evidenceâbased interventions that empower individuals to live more independently and confidently.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out holistic assessments covering physical, cognitive, emotional, and environmental needs
* Create and deliver tailored treatment programmes focused on selfâcare, work, education and leisure goals
* Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental adjustments, providing training to service users where required
* Deliver both 1:1 and group therapy sessions using a range of therapeutic approaches
* Work closely with clinical colleagues, families, and carers, ensuring accurate documentation and ongoing review of progress
* Contribute to a supportive and personâcentred therapeutic environment
About You
The work is meaningful and varied, and youâll need resilience, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills to thrive in this setting.
Qualifications
* Recognised degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy
* Current HCPC registration
* Experience in an OT setting; exposure to specialist areas such as neuroârehabilitation is beneficial
* Strong communication, coaching and counselling skills
* The ability to manage emotionally and physically demanding situations while maintaining a compassionate approach
