About the Role:
We are looking for a reliable and practical Maintenance & Hot Tub Assistant to join our team at Thanet Well Lodge Retreat.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a hands-on approach who takes pride in maintaining high standards and enjoys working in a varied outdoor environment. In this role, you will support the day-to-day maintenance and repair of park facilities, accommodation, and equipment, whilst also ensuring our hot tubs are maintained to the highest standards for guest use.
This is a varied and active role, suited to someone who is proactive, adaptable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
This is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week, including weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.

Key Responsibilities:
• Carry out general maintenance and repair work across the park, including lodges, grounds, and facilities
• Conduct routine hot tub checks, cleaning, testing, and maintenance to ensure compliance with company and health & safety standards
• Monitor and record water quality, chemical levels, and maintenance activities
• Drain, clean, refill, and prepare hot tubs for guest arrivals and departures
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner
• Conduct routine inspections of buildings, equipment, and park facilities
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, decorating, and grounds maintenance tasks where required
• Ensure accommodation and guest facilities are safe, functional, and well-presented at all times
• Support planned and preventative maintenance programmes
• Assist with maintaining the overall appearance and cleanliness of the park
• Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety procedures and company policies
• Work collaboratively with other departments to support the overall guest experience

What We're Looking For:
• Previous experience in a maintenance, facilities, or similar role is desirable
• Experience with hot tubs, swimming pools, or water treatment systems would be advantageous, although full training can be provided
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or general building maintenance
• Practical, hands-on skills with the ability to solve problems efficiently
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• A flexible and proactive approach to work
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Full UK driving licence is desirable
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of presentation, safety, and customer service

This is a permanent role working 40 hours per week and requires flexibility to work weekends, bank holidays, and peak holiday periods in line with business needs.
