About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and driven Business Development Manager with a waste industry background to join our BL4-based company. This field-based role covers the North West, combining home-based work and on-the-road client visits.
You will be responsible for driving new business across both commercial and residential sectors, selling a full range of waste services including skip hire, portable toilets (portaloo), office waste solutions, and general waste management.
Key Responsibilities
* Generate and win new business across the North West
* Sell waste services to commercial and residential customers
* Build and manage a strong pipeline of leads
* Conduct client meetings, site visits, and networking activities
* Work closely with operations to ensure smooth onboarding
* Achieve and exceed sales targets, including bonus opportunities
Requirements
* Proven business development or sales experience in the waste industry
* Knowledge of commercial and residential waste services
* Confident, self-motivated, and target-driven
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Ability to work independently and manage your own diary
* Full UK driving licence
