Location: Cloughfern Avenue, Newtownabbey
Hours: 37 hours per week (Mon-Fri)
Overview
Staffline is recruiting on behalf of the Northern Ireland Housing Executive for Electricians and Plumbers to join NIHE Direct maintenance teams, carrying out essential domestic repairs and maintenance across residential properties.
Electrician - £
Key duties:
1. Domestic electrical repairs and fault finding
2. Smoke alarm installation and replacement
3. Electrical testing and inspection
4. Ensuring compliance with current regulations
Essential Criteria:
5. Time-served electrician
6. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
7. 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent)
8. Full valid driving licence
9. Experience in domestic electrical maintenance
Plumber - £
Key duties:
10. Bathroom, kitchen and wet room plumbing installations
11. Pipework, cylinders, radiators and heating systems
12. General domestic plumbing repairs and maintenance
Essential Criteria:
13. Time-served plumber
14. Minimum 2 years' post-apprenticeship experience
15. Full valid driving licence
16. Experience in domestic plumbing maintenance
General Requirements (Both Roles)
17. Experience working in occupied domestic properties
18. Ability to work independently and safely
19. Strong customer service approach
20. Good awareness of health & safety practices
