About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Work closely with pupils to support their learning, social, and emotional development
* Prepare learning resources and assist with engaging classroom activities
* Provide personalised support to help pupils achieve their individual goals
* Promote pupils’ physical and emotional wellbeing in a nurturing environment
* Collaborate with teachers and colleagues to deliver creative, tailored learning experiences

Who We’re Looking For
We welcome applications from candidates who:
* Hold GCSEs (grade C/4 or above) or equivalent in English and Maths
* Have a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
* Bring experience working as a Teaching Assistant within a SEND setting
* Are motivated to support vulnerable pupils to lead happy, fulfilling lives
* Are adaptable and confident working in both indoor and outdoor learning environments
* Demonstrate a caring and proactive approach to supporting classroom and off-site learning activities
* Work well as part of a collaborative, supportive team
* Have strong communication skills and a positive attitude towards working with young people with additional needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
