Location: Peak View - Buxton
Compensation: £41,751 – £46,197 per year
Hours: 4 days on, sleep nights on, 6 days off (365 rota)
Pay rate: £41,751 to £46,197 per annum, including opportunities to pick up overtime at an enhanced rate
What we are looking for: Peak View is a two‑bed, Ofsted‑registered children's home providing immediate intervention and trauma‑informed therapeutic support. Over a 12‑week placement, our young people are given security, support, and stabilisation in a nurturing and peaceful environment. Every placement provides PACE principle residential care, access to education and participation in outdoor/adventure activities.
We are seeking an experienced, qualified children's residential care worker who is eager to expand their skills and knowledge.

Essential requirements for a Senior Children's Adventure Care Worker:
* A minimum 12 months experience in a children's residential care home
* A level 3 (or above) diploma in residential childcare (or be close to completion)
* A full driving licence issued in the UK
* A keen interest in outdoor and adventure activities
* Applicants must have full right to work in the UK with no restrictions
* In‑depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations, expectations and best practice
* Training and experience in de‑escalation, safe restraint and physical intervention (such as Team Teach, MAPA, etc.)
* Values in line with Esland's, such as taking a therapeutic, person‑centred approach to childcare
* Due to industry regulations, applicants must be aged 21 or above
