Your new role
As an Electrical Technician, you will maintain and operate plant and equipment to ensure regulatorypliance and minimise operational disruptions. Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, fault-finding, diagnostics, and repair of electrical equipment, electrical networks (both LV and HV), hydraulic systems, and control equipment. You will report faults and defects to supervisors and work independently or as part of a multi-skilled team, ensuringpliance with all statutory requirements and legislation.
What you'll need to succeed
1. Minimum ONC or HNC Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification, or be a time-served Apprentice.
2. Understanding of PLC Systems is desired.
3. Ideally a knowledge of maintaining LV and HV networks
4. Previous experience in a similar environment is advantageous.
5. Knowledge of maintenance strategies (RCM, PM, CBM, TPM) is beneficial.
6. Flexibility to work out of hours as required.
7. A full valid Driving Licence is essential.
