What you’ll be doing
This role is 22.5 hours per week. Ideally, the successful candidate will need to be on site on Tuesdays, but the remaining hours can be discussed and agreed. We understand the importance of a positive work-life balance and will consider flexible arrangements where possible.
* Deliver specialist assessment and treatment for patients with complex neurological communication and swallowing disorders, including referral for instrumental assessment (VF, FEES where applicable).
* Develop and implement individualised treatment plans using evidence-based practice.
* Provide training and support to patients, families, and the wider interdisciplinary team.
* Participate in service development, clinical audits, and research.
* Supervise and mentor junior SLTs, assistants, and students as required.
* Keep people safe from harm and protect their human rights.

What you’ll have
* HCPC registration
* Postgraduate dysphagia training
* SLT experience within a neurorehabilitation setting
* Experience supervising students and/or SLT assistants
* Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS
