About the Role: AA Environmental Limited's environmental permitting team is looking to recruit an Environmental Consultant to support the delivery of compliance advice and the development of permits. The team works on complex permits associated with the circular economy and are technical experts and leaders in their specialism.
You will work directly with the Senior Management Team to deliver projects. The work includes:
1. Conducting site inspections and compliance assessments.
2. Performing soil and water testing, including groundwater monitoring and surface water sampling.
3. Writing detailed reports to support permitting documents.
4. Communicating effectively with stakeholders and engineers.
5. Assisting in updating Environmental Management System documents.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Degree in either Environmental Science, Geology, Physical Chemistry, Geosciences, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 6 months to 3 years of relevant experience.
3. Strong attention to detail, quality, and a proactive attitude.
4. Strong report writing skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Clean UK/EU driving licence.
7. Must be over 22 years of age.
