Teaching Personnel is recruiting Behaviour Mentors for Primary and SEN schools in the NG18 (Mansfield) area. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils with SEMH (Social, Emotional, Mental Health) needs, helping them thrive both in and out of the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with behavioural needs
* Help students develop positive coping strategies and routines
* Use de-escalation techniques and manage challenging situations calmly
* Support reintegration into lessons or structured activities
* Work closely with SENCOs, behaviour leads, and external agencies
We’re Looking For:
* Experience supporting children or young people with behaviour challenges (formal or informal)
* A confident, calm, and patient approach
* A background in psychology, youth work, mentoring, or sports coaching is a bonus
* A commitment to inclusion and safeguarding

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
