Salary: Circa £45,000 depending on skills and experience.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Applying Cyber Incident Management knowledge, skills and training within the Cyber Operations function to meet strategic and tactical goals of the Cyber Incident Response & Investigations Team (CIRIT).
* Supporting the Cyber Incident Management Lead in the delivery of the Incident Management capability.
* Working under general direction of the Lead, exercising substantial personal responsibility and autonomy, using discretion in identifying and responding to complex issues and assignments, and escalating when required.
* Supporting the CIRIT function to ensure adherence to Legal, Regulatory, Ethical and professional standards as well as policies and directives governing security investigations and data privacy.
* Collaborating with the wider business and key stakeholders to provide a professional and supportive Incident Management function.
Essential
* Proven experience in incident coordination and management.
* Experience working with a range of system management and security toolsets in a technical capacity, such as SIEM, DLP, EDR, AV, IDS/IPS.
* Analytical background with the ability to analyse and interpret large and complex data sets and articulate observations, conclusions and recommendations.
* Experience communicating with a variety of individuals including senior leadership and the ability to influence decisions.
Desirable
* Practical experience supporting Cyber Operations functions such as Detection, Intelligence, and Vulnerability Management.
