Students at this well-regarded Specialist school have a range of additional needs including SEMH, Challenging Behaviour, ASD and Physical Disabilities. In this Learning Support Assistant (SEN) role, you will benefit from extensive training and support while working alongside a dynamic and forward-thinking senior leadership team.
The Role - Learning Support Assistant (SEN)
In this Learning Support Assistant (SEN) role, you will support pupils across the school by helping them access learning in a structured and nurturing environment.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN
* Assisting with behaviour management and emotional support
* Supporting communication and social development
* Helping teachers deliver engaging and accessible lessons
* Working closely with the SEN team and wider support staff
