An international law firm's Newcastle office is seeking applications from motivated and detailโoriented candidates for an Interim Corporate Paralegal position. This position is ideal for someone looking to build handsโon experience in a corporate legal environment-particularly candidates who may have had work experience in a corporate team before, or those due to commence a training contract in the not-too-distant future who might be looking for some hands-on experience in a large legal practice.
As part of the wider corporate function, you will assist with a variety of legal, administrative, and projectโbased tasks, gaining exposure to commercial contracts, governance activity, and general corporate operations.
The role is on an interim basis to begin with, however my client is seriously considering the possibility of making the role permanent should the successful applicants perform to a high standard. If you are looking for your first job in the law, this would be an excellent opportunity to get your foot in the door of one of the biggest law firms in the world.

Some prior experience working within a corporate, commercial, or legal team (inโhouse or private practice) - preferred but not essential.

Proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work collaboratively.
Desirable:
- Law degree or completion of GDL/LPC/SQE preparation is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Interest in pursuing a training contract or qualifying role in the future.
