Role Description
This is a full-time role for a General Sales Manager, based out of our Poole office. The General Sales Manager will oversee the development and implementation of sales strategies to achieve organizational goals. Key responsibilities include managing and mentoring the sales team, analyzing market trends, building strong relationships with clients, negotiating contracts, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The role also involves supporting preparation and reviewing sales proposals, identifying new business opportunities, and monitoring team performance to meet sales targets.
Qualifications
* Extensive experience in Sales Strategy, Business Development, and Account Management
* Strong Leadership, Team Management, and Coaching capabilities
* Strong Negotiation, Communication, and Client Relationship Management skills
* Proficiency in Market Analysis and Sales Forecasting
* Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets
* Knowledge of machinery industry markets and trends is highly desirable
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus
* Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with excellent organizational skills
