Citrus Recruit are excited to be recruiting for a Compliance Manager working within Transportation and Haulage industry. As a Compliance Manager you will play a vital role in ensuring that our operations remain fully compliant with industry regulations, legal requirements, and internal standards. Working closely with the Head of Compliance and H&S Manager, you will be at the forefront of maintaining high standards across Health & Safety, transport, and regulatory compliance, while supporting and guiding colleagues to embed a culture of best practice across the business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong eye for detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to engage with people at all levels. Responsibilities & day to day duties As a Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for: Work closely with the Head of Compliance and H&S Manager to maintain compliance across the business. Assist with Health & Safety documentation and driver inductions. Conduct Toolbox Talks and ensure drivers complete necessary training. Carry out vehicle gate checks (safety, security, condition, and defect checks). Complete driver induction paperwork, including licence checks and starter packs. Monitor and report on compliance risks, escalating issues where necessary. Ensure driver EU and Working Time infringements are monitored, managed, and supported with training. Oversee company van usage and tachograph analysis (RHA). Investigate irregularities and non-compliance issues, ensuring corrective actions are taken. Maintain accurate records and provide reports to senior management. Support Transport Managers with information and compliance updates Skills & experience required. Previous experience in a compliance role within transport, logistics, or a related industry. Strong knowledge of Health & Safety, transport legislation, and driver compliance. Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills. Confident communicator, able to deliver training and engage with staff at all levels. Proactive problem-solver with the ability to investigate and resolve issues. Good IT skills with experience maintaining compliance records and reports.
