Family Support Worker (Scale 6) ? Worcester ? Full-Time | 37 Hours Per Week We are currently recruiting for a compassionate and dedicated Family Support Worker to join a supportive team in Worcester. As a Family Support Worker, you will play a key role in helping families build stability, confidence, resilience, and brighter futures through practical and emotional support within homes and local communities. The Role You will work closely with children, young people, and their families to provide tailored support and intervention, helping to improve outcomes and promote positive change. Key Responsibilities Work directly with families within their homes and local communities Provide practical and emotional support based on individual family needs Support parents in developing skills, confidence, and positive routines Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people Build strong partnerships with schools, social workers, and multi-agency professionals Maintain accurate records and contribute to support and intervention plans Manage challenging situations professionally and effectively About You We are looking for someone who is empathetic, resilient, and passionate about supporting vulnerable families.
