Familiarity with scripting or querying languages such as Python, Bash, SPL, or SQL is desirable. Experience working in a team environment through academic projects, part-time work, or volunteering is desirable. Responsibilities: We support the configuration and deployment of Splunk, Cribl, and observability tooling under the guidance of senior engineers. We help with the ingestion and processing of data. We learn and apply parsing logic, data normalisation, and enrichment techniques for structured and unstructured log data. We help monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, escalating issues where needed. We participate in technical reviews and design sessions. We attend and contribute to client meetings. We help produce project documentation, reports, and delivery artefacts. We support the maintenance of project information in our resource management system. We learn our service definitions and how they apply to different client situations. We actively engage with our structured learning programme and work towards relevant certifications. We take ownership of our development and progress against the Grade 1 capability framework. We contribute to internal knowledge sharing and team discussions.
