About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Senior Lending Manager to join our Lending & Portfolio team. In this key role, you will manage the end-to-end lending process for property development loans, applying thorough due diligence and commercial judgement to ensure deals meet CrowdProperty’s credit policies and risk appetite.
You will act as a trusted contact for developers, brokers, and internal colleagues, providing technical guidance, managing credit approvals, and ensuring smooth loan progression from application through to completion.
What You'll Be Doing
* Assessing and progressing property development loan applications
* Conducting thorough due diligence in line with company credit policy
* Preparing and presenting credit papers to the Investment Committee
* Liaising with solicitors and other stakeholders to facilitate loan completions
* Supporting Business Development Managers with loan structuring and early-stage advice
* Collaborating with Portfolio Managers to ensure smooth handovers and risk management
* Managing valuations, legal reports, and related documentation
* Maintaining accurate records on lending platforms and CRM
* Contributing to improvements in lending processes and controls
What You’ll Need to Succeed
* Experience in property development, bridging, or specialist lending
* Strong knowledge of credit risk and underwriting processes
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
* Detail-focused with strong organisational ability
* Proficiency with CRM systems, lending platforms, and Microsoft Office
* Understanding of FCA regulations and compliance requirements
* Experience in challenger or specialist lending markets
* Interest in process improvement and system optimisation
Hours: 37.5hr per week – Hybrid work pattern (3 days on site in Edgbaston)
Pay: £55,000 to £70,000 (dependent on experience)
