Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Duties
* Deliver high-quality, patient-centred clinical care across booked and same-day consultations
* Manage patients with long-term conditions in line with QOF and local pathways
* Conduct telephone triage as part of the shared rota
* Prescribe in line with local and national guidelines (generic where possible)
* Complete documentation, coding, repeat prescribing, referrals, and results in a timely manner
* Undertake clinical audits and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
* Support and supervise clinical learners and junior staff
Governance & Service Development
* Adhere to practice clinical protocols and participate in significant event audits, complaints handling, and clinical risk reviews
* Contribute to achieving QOF, enhanced services, and practice development plans
* Attend and actively contribute to team and clinical meetings
* Lead or support projects relevant to QOF, ICB, or CQC as appropriate
Collaborative Working
* Work closely with clinical and non-clinical team members to ensure continuity of care and shared management of the practice workload
* Develop and maintain effective working relationships with partner organisations
* Champion inclusive and equitable care, promoting patient dignity, safety, and confidentiality
Person Specification
Experience
* Experience in UK primary care
* Clinical audit and QOF participation
* Safe management of chronic diseases
* Competent EMIS, Docman and Microsoft Office user

* Collaborative, flexible and proactive approach

Qualifications
* MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
* MRCGP
* Full GMC registration and licence to practise
* NHS England Performers List inclusion
* Indemnity cover (e.g. MPS/MDU)
* Valid appraisal and revalidation status
