As a fintech enabler, MPMS operates a scalable, modular platform that supports a global portfolio of prepaid programs, combining innovation with operational excellence.
Role Purpose
This role ensures alignment with Mastercard’s broader objectives while driving efficiency, risk mitigation and continuous improvement across MPMS. It reports to the SVP MPMS and contributes to the strategic objectives of the Program.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead cross‑functional teams to deliver robust governance frameworks, supplier oversight and data operations aligned with MPMS’s strategic goals.
* Manage MPMS governance forums including monthly management meeting, product council, DRC and change board to ensure effective decision‑making and product delivery.
* Oversee global supplier relationships, ensuring performance, cost‑effectiveness and compliance with Mastercard’s supplier management framework.
* Drive the development and execution of annual strategic plans across governance, vendor management and data operations.
* Collaborate with product, finance, compliance, legal, engineering and sourcing teams to deliver integrated solutions and support program growth.
* Enhance risk and control maturity across function, ensuring documentation and frameworks remain current and effective.
* Design and implement functional solutions to meet business objectives, including testing and deployment.
* Facilitate AI and data design‑thinking engagements/workshops that produce AI and data strategy frameworks and recommendations.
* Work with the global business units to support data and AI design methodology and requirements for new products and services.
* Help enable product teams by supporting the AI intake process, documenting data briefs, data flows and data material as required by the product management process.
* Become an expert to the rest of the organization on Mastercard data and AI capabilities and assets to enable the business to leverage those capabilities and assets to the extent practical and allowed under relevant laws and licenses.
* Demonstrate a forward‑thinking mindset, bringing creativity and innovation to how data and AI are leveraged to solve problems, unlock value and drive impact.
* Communicate to internal and external stakeholders regarding the value of data and AI; strong written and oral communication skills; ability to present detailed concepts in a clear and concise manner.

* Proven leadership in stakeholder engagement and supplier management across complex, regulated environments.
* Demonstrated success in designing and assuring governance programmes and frameworks.
* Deep understanding of prepaid processing systems and associated compliance requirements.
* Strong analytical, problem‑solving and organisational capabilities.
* Ability to manage multiple high‑priority initiatives with precision and agility.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, negotiate and collaborate across senior stakeholder groups.
