About the Role
We are a leading the recruitment for an FMCG manufacturer who is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to support their high-speed production facility. This is a hands-on role focused on ensuring maximum equipment uptime, safety, and continuous improvement across the site.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance on FMCG production lines
* Diagnose and fault-find electrical, control, and automation issues to minimise downtime
* Maintain and troubleshoot PLCs, drives, sensors, and control panels
* Support continuous improvement and reliability projects
* Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and food industry standards
* Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment
* Maintain accurate maintenance and compliance records
Key Requirements
* Electrical Engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 / HNC / equivalent)
* Proven experience in an FMCG or fast-paced manufacturing environment
* Strong fault-finding skills on electrical and control systems
* PLC experience
* Ability to work under pressure and respond to breakdowns effectively
* Flexible approach to shift work
