This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Electrical engineer to join an established family-owned business based in Leeds. Reporting to the Head of Engineering you will be responsible for producing the arrangements for our products and working within the Engineering Team’s procedural framework to ensure all design requirements are met.
Responsibilities
* Issuing marshalling & wiring schematics to client specifications
* Developing and maintaining component libraries
* Supporting the mechanical engineers where required
* Maintaining standard designs
* Investigating new technologies
* Working closely with the fitting department to improve output of internal customers
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
* Essential:
* Knowledge & understanding of relay logic
* Ability to read and draw electrical schematics
* Relevant Electrical Engineering qualification
* Fault finding skills
* Panel wiring experience
* AutoCAD / AutoCAD Electrical
* Previous experience of transformers would be ideal but not essential
* Autodesk Inventor experience would be ideal but not essential
* Organized with good communication skills
* A sound knowledge of engineering design principles
* Good numeracy and I.T. skills
* Good problem‑solving skills
* The ability to meet deadlines
* Attention to detail
