Business Development Manager
London area – field based
Up to £70k per annum DOE + £6k per annum car allowance + strong bonus scheme
Our client is a highly successful mutual within the Mortgage and Savings space. This is a fantastic opportunity for a relationship focussed, business development individual to join their sales team, developing relationships with mortgage intermediaries to ensure the promotion of their mortgage and related products.
The role is to cover London and the M25 area. Due to the field-based nature of the position, you will need to be located in or close to London and will hold a full, clean driving license.
Duties of the Business Development Manager will include:
* Maintain and develop business relationships with existing mortgage intermediaries and Packagers (if applicable) across London and the M25 area in order to increase both the quantity and quality of enquiries and applications submitted to the organisation.
* Build a network of new mortgage intermediaries within the defined geographical area to ensure that they are introducing a significant flow of applications on a monthly basis.
* Work closely with the Intermediary desk (New Business Team), Compliance and Loans Underwriting teams to ensure that specific cases are handled smoothly through the application process.
* Represent the organisation at any relevant industry events in order to promote the organisation and its products, including exhibitions, seminars, awards ceremonies as required.
The successful individual will possess:
* Previous business development experience within a mutual or similar environment.
* Have a full UK driving licence.
* Be situated in or close to London.
