The role will support the effective design, development, implementation and evaluation of innovative and engaging CFK interventions, co-created between CFK teams and our audiences (i.e. children, families and teachers). What difference will you make? Intervention Site Liaison (onsite) Acting as a liaison between remote CFK Teams and the onsite intervention site team, building strong relationships and keeping communication channels open Acting as a CFK Ambassador, building interest and engagement within the intervention site community and the wider local community Using your knowledge and experience of our audiences’ needs, providing creative ideas and suggestions to support intervention design, delivery and evaluation where appropriate Supporting with administrative and coordination activities which may include supporting with data collection and collation, organising meetings and any other administrative support required Identifying and exploring potential new intervention site opportunities within the local area and beyond! Additionally for Intervention Team Leads - ensuring successful interventions delivery, key external and internal stakeholders management, intervention planning, collaboration with the research and contents team and managing your local intervention team of volunteers What are we looking for? Experience / Skills We would like applicants to have one or more of the following Experience working in or with schools or educational settings e.g. as a teacher, teaching assistant, educationalist, health coach, sports coach Experience of nutrition, diet, food sciences or technology Experience of cooking demonstrations and providing recipes An understanding of primary and/or secondary school aged children, their parents / carers and professionals working in school settings (i.e. our audiences) including what motivates them, understanding barriers and beliefs about healthy eating etc Experience managing, coordinating and delivering projects effectively and efficiently if operating as a Team Lead Articulate written, visual, and verbal communication; fluency in English is essential Ability to work creatively and support development of intervention delivery materials to meet the needs of the participants Prior experience in a similar role (paid or voluntary) would be an advantage but isn’t essential What will you be doing? We are looking for volunteers who can lead interventions as well as volunteers who can support delivery of our interventions as members of our teams. Our current interventions are in the West Sussex West area covering Bognor Regis Chichester and Portsmouth.
