i-teachers are currently working with an excellent secondary academy based in the Chesterfield area who are eager to find a supportive, outgoing and naturally engaging Graduate Teaching Support Mentor to provide excellent in & out of class support to KS3 & KS4 students with behavioural needs.

Graduate Teaching Support Mentor – Role Information:
1. Graduate Teaching Support Mentor
2. Located in Chesterfield (S41)
3. Based in secondary academy for remainder of academic year
4. Beginning ASAP – Usual school working hours
5. Paid £450 per week during term time before tax
6. Multiple online free CPD courses available – SEN, Mental Health & Safeguarding
7. Planning and conducting lessons for students in KS3 & KS4 with SEMH needs
8. Creating tailored intervention sessions based inside and out of the classroom.
Graduate Teaching Support Mentor – Applicant Requirements:
9. Minimum 2:1 Core Subject, Humanities or STEM subject degree
10. Strong academic background
11. Prior experience working with children or adolescents
12. Good organisation and communication skills
13. Naturally outgoing and supportive individual
14. Ability to build immediate rapport with children
