Job Title: Level 3 EYFS Practitioner - Nursery School Company: Spencer Clarke Group Location: Alfreton Start Date: September 2025 Contract Type: Full-Time, Term Time Only Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15am - 3:45pm Pay: £16.20 per hour Spencer Clarke Group are working in partnership with a warm and inclusive nursery school in the Alfreton area to recruit a Level 3 qualified EYFS Practitioner for a full-time role starting in September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to work as part of a nurturing team in a purpose-built early years setting. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing general support across the nursery, with a particular focus on supporting children with additional needs (SEND). You'll need to bring energy, patience, creativity and a calm, child-centred approach to your practice - and in return, you'll join a setting where every child is valued and supported to thrive. What You'll Be Doing: Providing high-quality care and education to children aged 2-4 Supporting pupils with a range of SEND needs, including communication and behavioural challenges Delivering stimulating, play-based learning in line with the EYFS framework Assisting in planning, observations, assessments, and child development tracking Promoting positive relationships and working in close partnership with parents and carers Creating a warm, inclusive environment where children feel safe, supported and inspired What We're Looking For: Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare (essential) Previous experience supporting children with SEND within a nursery or preschool setting A strong understanding of the EYFS and early child development A calm, proactive and caring approach Relationship builder with excellent communication and interpersonal skills A genuine passion for working with young children Why Work with Spencer Clarke Group?
