Main duties of the job
You would be working as part of a wellbeing & recovery team with a mixture of psychosocial and clinical interventions to support the prison population. Job responsibilities
As a Band 5 Nurse you will provide high-quality clinical assessment and treatment to substance dependant prisoners, working in partnership with HM Prison Service and all other stakeholders. You will ensure the delivery and monitoring of high standards of nursing care and relevant substance misuse interventions to all service users in accordance with the standards set out in the NMC Code of Conduct

1. - Current Registered General Nurse, Mental Health Nurse or Learning
2. Disability Nurse

3. - Mentorship Qualification

4. -Suitable experience for a newly qualified nurse
5. -Knowledge of the safe storage and administration of medication
6. -Knowledge and ability to comply with the NMC Code of Conduct
7. -Ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care and act

9. -Ability and knowledge to carry out risk assessments and management
10. -Strong IT Skills
11. -Good written and verbal communication skills
