Specialist Occupational Therapist - Band 5 to 6 Development Post
An exciting opportunity has opened to join our specialist team at St Luke’s, focusing on early intervention and palliative and end-of-life care.
Within the therapy team, the focus is on palliative rehabilitation, enabling individuals to live fully until they die.
We offer development opportunities to progress to a Band 6 Specialist OT within 18 months, with clear objectives and pathways.
The post involves working mainly within the community team, providing high-standard Occupational Therapy assessments in patients' homes, alongside the Clinical Nurse Specialist team. The team also offers in-reach services to inpatients, assisting with discharge planning and interventions.
We seek an enthusiastic, motivated individual to join our multidisciplinary team providing specialist palliative care. You will have opportunities for training and development to enhance your skills in palliative and end-of-life occupational therapy.
