Your Role
As a key player in our team, you will organize and supervise the unit to meet the high standards set by Compass Group UK & Ireland, ensuring efficient and effective management. Your responsibilities will include:
* Strategic Leadership: Provide guidance and take a strategic approach to managing the business through your team.
* Effective Communication: Motivate and guide your management team and catering staff daily, setting clear operational responsibilities.
* Food and Safety Oversight: Take overall responsibility for food quality and health and safety procedures in the college catering department.
* Compass Advocacy: Promote the unit and act as a Compass Advocate at all times.
* Stakeholder Management: Proven experience managing internal and external stakeholders.
* Client Hospitality: Ensure all client hospitality is delivered to the agreed standard and seek feedback on food and service.
* Service Enhancement: Identify opportunities to enhance and develop the service we provide.
* Innovation: Bring creativity to the food provided, ensuring the service remains exciting and fresh.
* Budget Management: Operate within the agreed budget, monitor trends, and identify corrective actions as necessary.
* Customer Satisfaction: Ensure all customer requirements are met in line with expectations.
