* Salary up to £55k
* 37.5 hour working week, 9am–5.30pm Monday to Friday

Duties and responsibilities:
* Managing a diverse client portfolio and acting as the main point of contact
* Leading monthly client review meetings, presenting financial insights and agreeing actions
* Preparing and reviewing bookkeeping, ledgers, reconciliations, journals, accruals and prepayments
* Producing monthly and quarterly management accounts with commentary
* Preparing year‑end accounts under UK GAAP and FRS standards and handling related queries
* Preparing and submitting Self‑Assessment tax returns, corporation tax computations and CT600s
* Preparing and submitting VAT returns, including complex schemes, and providing MTD and VAT advice
Required skills and experience:
* ACA or ACCA qualified with strong accountancy practice experience
* Proven ability to manage a client portfolio and deliver end‑to‑end accounting services
* Confidence leading client meetings and explaining financial information clearly
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
* Experience using cloud accounting systems and Excel, with Mac experience desirable
* A client‑focused, commercially aware approach with excellent attention to detail
