As Junior Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for supporting with analysing project requirements, preparing detailed cost estimates for labour, materials, and equipment, and ensuring accurate, competitive tender submissions.
The role:
* Produce estimates and costs plans for multiple complex projects
* Assess tender documentation requirements and present tender launch proposals
* Identify resources to complete the bid
* Identify potential risks and opportunities
* Assist in compiling comprehensive analytical net cost estimates for works including preliminary items in line with the Company’s standards to win work
* Present net cost tenders for internal adjudication
* Conversion of estimates to tender submission
The ideal candidate will have:
* A minimum of 12 months previous experience
* A relevant qualification at HND level or equivalent
* Impeccable attention to detail
* Ability to plan, schedule, coordinate and problem solve effectively
* Proficient in Microsoft packages
* Problem solving skills
* Interpersonal skills
* Verbal and written communication skills
* Motivated, flexible with a will to succeed
