Conveyancing Fee Earner – Residential Property – Fully Remote (UK)
An established and well-respected conveyancing firm is looking to recruit an experienced Conveyancing Fee Earner to join its growing residential property team. This is a fully remote, home-based position offering a fantastic opportunity for a Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or experienced Conveyancer to manage their own caseload while delivering exceptional client service within a supportive and forward-thinking legal practice.
Role Overview
As a Conveyancing Fee Earner, you will be responsible for managing a full caseload of residential property transactions from instruction to post-completion. This will include freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity. You’ll work closely with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other legal professionals to ensure each transaction progresses smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
* Handle a busy caseload of residential conveyancing matters from start to finish
* Review title documents, carry out searches, and prepare contracts and transfer deeds
* Oversee key stages including exchange of contracts, completion, and registration
* Maintain professional communication with all parties involved
* Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory standards
* Use case management systems and online platforms such as the Land Registry and HMRC portals
Requirements
* Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or experienced Conveyancer with a solid background in UK residential conveyancing
* Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently
* Strong understanding of UK property law and conveyancing procedures
* Confident using digital platforms for searches, applications, and case management
* Accreditation or membership with relevant bodies (e.g. Law Society, CLC) is advantageous
