Job Description ASIC/FPGA Design/Verification Engineer Full Time, Permanent, Days Solihull - minimum of 3 days a week on-site We're looking for an experienced ASIC/FPGA Designer or Verification Engineer to join our Complex Electronics Capability team in Solihull. This role offers the chance to work on cutting edge, safety-critical systems that power the future of aerospace and beyond. What you’ll be doing: You will design and verify advanced digital electronics using FPGA or ASIC technologies, collaborating across disciplines to deliver high-performance solutions. Developing complex digital ASIC/FPGAs using VHDL. Developing complex testbenches in SystemVerilog and UVM test environments. Develop timely and effective solutions for problematic design & verification problems. Integrating debugging designs and supporting teams to resolve issues. Who we’re looking for: You will bring hands on experience with VDHL, SystemVerilog and UVM along with a string track record of delivering complex engineering projects. You will have: Strong knowledge of platform interfaces, component technologies, system behaviour, verification vehicles, electrical design, system architecture, and development processes. Prior demonstrable experience using implementation tools, such as Simulators, synthesis engines, STA tools etc. Strong prior experience of independently developing complex testbenches in SystemVerilog and UVM test environments. Experience of writing, managing, and maintaining complex documentation and plans. Experience in scripting with languages such as TCL, Python, Shell scripts. Experience in version control, such as Git, SVN. Why Rolls-Royce?
