SEMH Support Assistant (Part-Time & Supply)
Location: Scunthorpe
Type: Flexible Hours – Part-Time & Supply
Do you have the skills and resilience to support pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? We are seeking experienced SEMH Support Assistants to work across specialist schools and provisions in Scunthorpe on a flexible, supply basis.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience: Previous experience supporting pupils who may display challenging behaviour, ideally in a school or care setting.
* Skills & Training: Additional relevant training is highly desirable, such as: Team Teach or other positive behaviour management training, Trauma-Informed Practice & De-escalation Techniques
* Flexibility: Willingness to accept same-day calls and adapt to different environments.
* Attitude: Calm, patient, and proactive approach to supporting pupils with complex emotional and behavioural needs.
