As a Senior Technical Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of a series of critical MEP upgrade works at Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital .

Who We’re Looking For:
* Pre-construction design management experience on MEP projects valued between £5M–£50M
* Strong and proven experience across Building Services Engineering, with exposure to sectors such as healthcare or commercial
* Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (BEng, MEng, or MSc) - Desirable
* Skilled in stakeholder coordination and design communication
* Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status or working towards - Desirable
* Experience managing design risk and specialist input (e.g., MMC, CDP)

What you’ll be doing:
* Own the technical delivery and strategy throughout the pre-construction phase, ensuring compliance with Dalkia’s Project Delivery System (PDS).
* Establish and oversee technical deliverables plans, managing internal and external design reviews.
* Identify, manage, and mitigate design and technical risks effectively.
* Coordinate the engagement of specialist contributors (e.g. MMC/offsite, CDP designers) at appropriate project stages.
* Ensure fully coordinated and clearly communicated designs across all disciplines.
* Discharge Dalkia’s legal and technical duties under CDM 2015 and the Building Safety Act.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant engineering standards, regulations, and best practices.
* Drive value engineering processes and manage design changes in collaboration with project teams.
* Define consultant scope, manage design fees, and align deliverables with pricing, procurement, and delivery strategies (including DRM/BG6).
* Work closely with digital engineers, project engineers, and consultants to ensure seamless integration of design across all phases.
