Base pay range

Assistant Professor (£46,735 - £55,755 p.a.) Permanent, full‑time position (36.5 hours per week).


About The Role

Warwick Law School seeks to appoint one permanent Assistant Professor from 1st September 2026 to join our vibrant and supportive team. We would particularly welcome applicants who teach in EU Law and/or Trusts Law, but applications are welcome from candidates who teach and research in other areas of law that fit with the Warwick Law School’s curriculum, Law in Context approach, and breadth of activities.


About You

* Experience and expertise to contribute to undergraduate teaching in the specified areas, contextualised with current and evolving research.
* Potential to teach postgraduates.
* Expectation to undertake high‑quality research and teaching, contribute to student experience and academic governance of the School.
* Completed PhD or proven that it will be conferred by the start of the appointment on 1st September 2026.

Selected candidates will attend presentations and interviews on Tuesday 24th March 2026.

Terms and Conditions of Employment specify that staff must live within a reasonable travelling distance of their place of work.


About The Department

Founded in 1968, now with over 1100 students and 70 full‑time academic staff, we have evolved into one of the leading law schools in the UK. We emphasise innovative and high‑quality teaching within a broad and contextual curriculum.
